Vicente Alex

Alex VICENTE was born on 22 July 1958 in Honolulu. In 1975 he had a traffic accident and became tetraplegic. He is unable to take hold of anything with his hands and fingers. One day on his way to the REHAB hospital he saw a group of people in art class on the verandah. Art class is where he also met mouth painter David Valentine KAAIHUE, student member of VDMFK. Since September 2007 Alex can only use his mouth for his painting activities. His main goal is to use his skills as a mouth painter to improve his personal circumstances.
