Uragami Tetsuya

Testsuya Uragami was born on 22 April 1957. At the age of 3, he was diagnosed as cerebral palsy. He did his best in physical training. When he was 15 years old, he moved in Seirakuso, the institution for the handicapped children. The association held there painting class once a week. That was the start of his painting. He build up the base of painting technique. Then he moved in House of hope, the institution for the adult handicapped. In October 1990 he won his first prize at an exhibition.
