Todisoa Martial

Martial Todisoa was born on 11 August 1976 in Tulear, Madagascar. Since birth he has suffered from dysmelia, i.e. malformation of the upper extremities. He has completed primary school and is active in a centre for the handicapped, which he attends several times a week. In November 1994 he began to paint with his foot. He is an autodidact. The artist paints mainly typical motifs of his native country.
