Te Rangi Wayne

Mr. Wayne Wiri W. Terangi was born on October 15, 1970 in Pukekohe. He went to primary school, junior high school and high school in Pukekohe. In December 1985 the artist had an accident at work; since the he has been suffering from C4 tetraplegia and has been paralyzed from the neck downwards. In November 1991 Mr. Terangi began painting with his mouth. He is an autodidact and later took private lessons. Mr. Terangi attended an art college and learned how to paint portraits, fruit and flower still lives. Hobbies: computer, graphics, chess, music and he loves dogs.
