Taruntajew Wladimir

Born on 22 December 1963 in Tula, Russia, Vladimir Taruntaiev has suffered since birth from infantile cerebral palsy and a related double-sided athetosis of the extremities. He is therefore unable to make use of his arms and hands. He successfully completed eight years of general school education through home schooling. In 1989, Taruntaiev began laying the foundations for his foot painting. Under the guidance of the painting and art teacher Tatyana F. Chudotvortseva, he was rapidly able to make remarkable artistic progress. Numerous solo and group exhibitions in Russia crown his artistic achievements
