Ms Taghavizadeh was born in Rasht, Iran in 1946. For several years now she has been suffering from brachial paralysis with total paralysis of her upper extremities. In 1994 she began to paint using her foot. She is an autodidact. The artist prefers carpet-making to painting. Ms Taghavizadeh can look back to numerous personal and group exhibitions.
