Susanj Dragica

Born on 3 April 1966 in Postojna. During the war in Yugoslavia she had a tragic accident. The car in which she was travelling was run over by a UNO tank. Her husband died instantly. She survived but suffered a fracture of the vertebrae and became tetraplegic. She decided to become involved in art and started to paint with her mouth. VDMFK artists Benjamin Znidarsic (student member) and Vojko Gasperut (full member) have encouraged her to continue painting with the mouth. In the meantime the artist has specialised in graphics and paintings done in oils.
