Rodriguez Esvin Romeo

Esvin Romeo Rodriguez was born on 22 November 1979 in Guatemala. In 1990 he moved to Los Angeles with his parents. In 1995 he was shot by the members of a gang on the street and became a quadriplegic. As part of an occupational therapy, Esvin was introduced to  mouthpainting. Robert Thome, associate member of the AMFPA, teaches him on a regular basis. In the meantime he has created innumerable paintings with colourful themes such as landscapes, playful abstracts, flower motifs, animal motifs, etc. The artist himself now teaches mouthpainting to handicapped children.
