Born on 19 February 1962 in Penapolis. His physical disability - he has no upper limbs - is a consequence of thalidomide medication. At the age of 10 he gained his first footpainting experience at the A.A.C.D. school (an association for the support of disabled children). Later he took further painting courses because he saw a future for himself in art. In the meantime the artist has been able to present his works on the occasion of numerous exhibitions. He also teaches art to adults in his hometown Penapolis. Furthermore, he has been a member of the town council since 1996 and currently occupies a leading position. He is also the founder and president of the association of the physically disabled in Penapolis.
