Pilar Porras Murillo was born in Jaraicejo on 29 May 1944. Since birth she has suffered from multiple arthrogryposis and has been unable to use her arms and legs. In April 1997 she began to paint with her mouth and has since received tuition in painting from recognised art professors. Her works show her to be an artist of promise.
