Pérez Luis Carlos Navarrete

Luis Carlos Perez Navarrete was born on 31 May 1979 in Guadalajara. In June 2003 Luis Carlos Perez Navarrete was on his way to a soccer game with friends when his car overturned. He fractured a cervical vertebra and has been completely paralysed since then (fracture of the C4 cervical vertebra in conjunction with a spinal cord injury). About a year ago he saw a TV interview with mouth painting artist Ismael Martinez (Student Member of VDMFK), who among other things spoke about how he learned to paint with his mouth. Inspired by this, Perez started to paint and draw using his mouth and came to like it very much.
