Roger Guy Pedrick was born on 11 March 1956. In 1978 he had a grave motorcycle accident that left him tetraplegic. He had to spend five years in hospital and that is where he learned to paint with the mouth. On account of his great interest he was able to make significant progress in a very short time. The majority of his paintings are done in vivid colours. As his artwork stems from his own imagination he has been able to develop his own unique style. Roger Guy Pedrick was already granted a scholarship in 2002 by the Board, but for personal reasons he turned down the scholarship at the time.
