Orth Rose Mary

Born on 26 May 1966 in Toledo (Brazil). She is suffering from the  effects of poliomyelitis of the torso and upper and lower extremities. Rose Mary needs a wheelchair to move around but uses her feet to write. Her hands are completely paralysed. The artist is currently enrolled in her third year at the faculty of philosophy at the university in Brasilia. At the age of 14 she initially painted with her foot but then changed to painting with her mouth at the age of 20. She acquired her artistic skills from 1991 to 1993, studying with Prof. Ivania B. Donassolo and 1997 with Prof. Delei from Brasília. Several personal and group exhibitions.
