Moraru Denisa-Alexandra

Denisa-Alexandra was born in Bacau on 8 November 2006. When she was six months old, Denisa-Alexandra was lying down at the family home. Her mother had gone to the outdoor well to fetch water but left the door open. A hungry pig used this opportunity to bite off both the girl's hands. The child was taken to the hospital as quickly as possible but there was no hope left of saving her hands. Denisa-Alexandra has two siblings who are also cared for at the YANA (You Are Not Alone) children's centre.
