Born on 30 April 1963 in Orange, California (USA). Ms Mills-Testi was born with congenital multiple arthrogryposis (because of a dysfunction of the nervous system the muscles are unable to develop). She comes from a family with artistic talent and craftsmanship skills and she liked art even as a small child. She attended primary and secondary school and had private art lessons. At college she enrolled in fine arts and studio art. She received two art scholarships and studied at the university in L.A., California, where she took her Bachelor of Art degree. She paints in charcoal, oils, pastels, does wood engraving, etching, lithography and much more. She is a mouth painter. She loves using gouache, oil-based crayons, watercolours and a combination of these 3 media. Ms Mills-Testi has already won many prizes and awards. She is very committed to children's issues, and she teaches painting, sketching and drawing. Her favourite themes are animals, nature, fantasy and religious motifs. Ms Mills-Testi takes great pleasure in family life. She is married and has 2 children, she enjoys deepening her knowledge of art, singing, she also compiles collector's albums and she loves nature.
