Mc Genn Ian

Ian Mc Genn was born on 13 March 1972 in Leeds. In 1988, at the age of 16, he suffered a fracture at the level of the C4/C5 vertebrae in a Rugby game, resulting in paralysis of arms and legs. In the course of a rehabilitation programme at the hospital he started to draw and paint with his mouth in 1989. He came to enjoy it very much and continued his artistic education in an autodidactic manner. The artist predominantly paints floral themes done in acrylics.
