Matias De Sousa Rick Matheus

Rick Matheus Matias de Sousa was born on 21 June 2000 in Fortaleza / Ceará. In December 2003 he was involved in a car accident and has been tetraplegic ever since. He spent almost three years at the children's hospital "Hospital Infantil Albert Sabin". The nursing staff at the hospital encouraged him to try painting with his mouth to boost his mental development. Rick predominantly paints animal themes.
