Leefe Toni

Born on 28 November 1978. At the age of 14 she injured her cervical vertebra C5/C6 while trampolining and thus became quadriplegic. At present she is studying to become an primary school teacher. At a painting demonstration given by mouthpainter Alex Craig (member / # 1999), she made the first attempts at painting with the mouth. She enjoyed it very much and joined a group of artists, and  has been receiving tuition from AMFPA artist Wayne Terangi (mouthpainter/scholarship holder) for some time. The artist predominantly paints landscape motifs in water colours. Contributions to several exhibitions.
