Juarez Covarrubias Carlos Mauricio

Carlos Mauricio Juarez was born in Mexico City on 27 September 1992. When he was one year old his mother took him to the doctor, who diagnosed a Duchenne muscular dystrophy. In 1999 he attended the "Gaby Brimmer" primary school which he managed to complete successfully. His muscles steadily atrophied year after year and by the age of eight he began using a wheelchair because he could no longer move his arms and legs. Even so, he attended the "Daniel Huacuja Sánchez" secondary school which he left in 2008. He even went on to complete his upper secondary school education. In secondary school, he began to take an interest in nature and mouth painting. To improve his artistic talents he has been taking private painting and art lessons under Jorge Marquez for quite some time.
