Hoffmann Jeferson Luis

Born on 13 January 1986 in Gramado. Due to neonatal meningitis and premature birth Jefferson suffers from "mixed" tetraplegia with paralysis of the upper and lower extremities. He attends the local APAE (Association of parents and friends of disabled people) with the aim to get a normal school education. In October 1998 he made his first attempts at painting with his mouth. He receives about 10 hours of tuition per week. He has had several personal exhibitions and has contributed to group exhibitions.
