González Gloria Patricia Patino

Born on 6 June 1965 in Hermosillo, Sonora. Prior to her handicap she was an exceptionally gifted athlete and furthermore showed great talent for graphic design. On 22 March 1987 she injured her 5th dorsal vertebra in a car accident, and her arms and legs remained paralysed despite several operations. As a single mother with a child, she was confronted with the fact that she had to make a living for herself and her child, inspiring her  to begin to painting with her mouth. Her works, which she paints mostly in oils, have been shown at many exhibitions.
