Arkadiusz Cyprian was born on 23 April 1975 in Ko?cian (Poland). In 1992, he suffered an irreparable C5 spinal fracture (tetraplegia), due to jumping into water. He spent the next few years in various hospitals and sanatoriums. At the end of the 1990s, he started on his path to mouth painting, which, as he says himself, is a "way of life" for him. When his health allows, he paints daily. Whilst painting he lies sideways on the bed or sits in his wheelchair. The artist primarily chooses landscape motifs from the area that he knows, or places he has travelled to, as themes for his pictures. He also participates in open air events and artistic workshops, which are good opportunities for him to obtain support from professional artists.

His picture motifs present lots of lights, and are therefore kept light. They are testament to a precise observation of nature. He has also participated in several exhibitions, and held successful individual exhibitions on his own initiative.
