Cortés Gutiérrez Gabriel

Gabriel Cortés Gutiérrez was born on 15 April 1975 in the city of Mazatlán. From birth he suffers from arthrogryposis (a malformation of the muscles and bones) and is therefore unable to use arms and legs. Despite his disability he attended school where he also started to paint with his mouth. Years later he met mouth painting artist and VDMFK Student Member Lidia Chaidez who encouraged him to continue to paint and thus develop his talent.
