Boz Rita

Rita Boz was born on 2 March 1963 in Flores da Cunha (state of Rio Grande de Sul / Brazil). She was a thalidomide baby and born without arms. That is why she has always performed the activities of daily living with her feet and her mouth.The artist discovered her talent for painting through a colleague (2001). She came to enjoy it very much. Her technique is oils on canvas and collages which she likes to create on wood, cardboard, etc.

Rita is very versatile as regards her themes - she paints abstract subjects, landscapes, nudes, etc.
