Bisoyi Sudam

Sudam Bisoyi was born on 20 March 1990 in Kukadakhandi, in the Indian federal state of Odisha.
From 2009-2013 Mr Bisoyi served as a sailor in the Indian navy. In 2011 he damaged his spinal cord when jumping into a swimming pool. Since this injury he has been paralysed from the neck down and reliant on a wheelchair. He currently lives in the Paraplegic Rehabilitation Centre in Pune.
Even during his childhood he felt a passion for painting, but was unable to pursue his passion as there were too many obstacles.
However with his disability he is trying to pursue his passion, give colour to his dreams and see life from a new perspective.
