Biagi Alexander

Alexander Biagi was born on 6 December 1980 in Denver, Colorado. At the age of 24, he fell ill with CIDP. CIDP is an autoimmune neuromuscular disease which leads to muscular atrophy, inadequate motor skills and sensory disturbances. Before his illness, he was very active, and played basketball and football. For years, he also played the piano and drew every day. In 2016, Alexander Biagi had an HSCT (haematopoietic stem cell transplantation). During the course of his life, he was operated upon 21 times, 11 of these due to sport injuries, and the remaining 10 because of his disease. He continually finds his way again, and manages to adjust in order to pursue the activities he loves. In 2015, Alexander Biagi started painting with his mouth.
