In silent grief

We have lost popular person from our large family of mouth and foot painters. Mr. Massberger was a pillar, a colleague, a friend and someone to whom we all always had great respect.

He met Arnulf Erich Stegmann, the first president of the association, at the age of 14 years. A few years later, he became a collaborator and helped him found the Association of Mouth and Foot Painting Artists. He accompanied him on numerous journeys that, thanks to his stories, will remain unforgettable for some of us. The preferred destination of the two artists was Burano near Venice.

Since Mr. Massberger himself was a painter, the Mouth- and foot painting artists were very close to him – and spent a lot of energy and passion for them. As an Artist he was a member of the Münchner Künstlervereinigung. For many years he worked for the jury of the association. His calm, his caution and his balance ensured a fruitful cooperation between the board of the association and the jury.

With his passionate dedication to the association he gave a tremendous contribution to the development the organisation, the good reputation and the artistic level of mouth- and foot painters all over the world. The biographies he wrote about the mouth and foot painters testify to his boundless affection for them.

We will always keep Mr Massberger in loving Memory!
