Creative Days on the Baltic Sea – Mouth and Foot Painters’ Workshop in Poland

In 2026, the Polish publishing house continued its long-standing tradition of inviting mouth and foot painters to a joint workshop.

From May 24 to 28, 2026, this year’s meeting took place in Świnoujście on the Polish Baltic coast. Expansive beaches, dunes, and the unique light of the sea provided an impressive backdrop and numerous inspirations for the creative days spent together.

The participants included full members Stanisław Kmiecik, Mariusz Mączka, and Walery Siejtbatałow, as well as scholarship recipients Arkadiusz Cyprian, Teresa Frys, Jadwiga Markur, Małgorzata Waszkiewicz, Agnieszka Sapińska, Mikołaj Kastelik, Mariola Wower, Marika Kropidłowska, Martyna Gruca, Joanna Sobierajska, Grzegorz Gawryszewski, Monika Kamińska, Staś Salach, Maria Kozdra, Monika Duda, and Jagoda Stradomska.

Under the guidance of artist Zofia Bem-Gierdal, the participants focused primarily on landscape motifs inspired by the Baltic Sea and its surroundings. The coastal landscape provided a wealth of inspiration, which the artists interpreted in diverse and personal ways. Numerous new works were created during the workshop with great concentration, perseverance, and enjoyment. At the same time, there was plenty of room for mutual exchange.
