Lizbeth Azucena Moroyoqui López

Lizbeth Azucena Moroyoqui López was born on 28 January 1985 in Guasave, Sinaloa, Mexico, where she still lives today. In 2006 she completed her psychology degree and found a position as an HR manager with a journalistic company. The same year she was involved in a serious traffic accident. On arrival at hospital and after many tests, she was diagnosed with a C5-C6 spinal cord injury.

On 20 August 2010 she was appointed as a teacher in a group of elementary schools for special needs education. Due to the pandemic situation in 2020 the establishment closed its doors. In 2017 she began attending painting courses in the town of Culiacán in parallel to her working activities. There she discovered her liking of painting, and to improve her painting skills she started watching art and painting tutorials on YouTube channels. From 2018 to 2020 she took private painting lessons from Lidia Cháidez López (Associate Member of VDMFK). After a compulsory break due to coronavirus, Lizbeth started her lessons again in 2022.
