Kavitha P V

Kavitha P V was born on 14 December 1980 in Kannur. She grew up with 5 siblings. At the age of one she caught polio. As Kavitha was unable to attend school for health reasons, she was taught at home.
She also taught herself to paint using her mouth. She started by creating embossed images, and later she learned to paint with watercolours.
In 2017 Kavitha P V married a man also suffering impaired health. He supports and motivates Kavitha to pursue her passion. They live together with his family.
