José Martín Orozco Arreguin

José Martín Orozco Arreguin was born on 18 September 1973 in Zapopan. He is married and has two sons and a daughter who died of acute myeloid leukaemia at the age of 18. Three months after the loss of his daughter, José Martín Orozco Arreguin was involved in a car accident in which he was so seriously injured that he has since been paralysed. Despite the physical limitations that now prevent him from moving his body and his hands, he found comfort in the positive energy of his family and in the support of his wife. In the years following the accident, he discovered a new talent: painting. Painting with his mouth became a challenge that he mastered step by step. This discovery brought him not only joy, but also the desire to continue his education and improve his artistic skills.
