Joaquin López Martinez

Joaquin LÓPEZ MARTINEZ was born in Tarancón on 17 August 1947.
He suffers from Spondylometaphyseal Dysplasia (congenital character), which causes bone and joint deformities. He lives in a care centre for the physically disabled (CAMF). Always an avid painter, Joaquin Lopez Martinez has made works in all pictorial techniques, including firing, painting ceramics and silk. The development of his disease severely limited him and he became depressed because he could no longer participate in the activities he liked best.
In 2020, he began to paint with his mouth, which improved his state of mind.
