Giovani Marcos Oviedo

Giovani Marcos was born on 14 May 1976 in Cuba. He is the proud father of two children. As an adolescent, he was adventurous; in 2009, Giovani had a serious accident, which left him with a permanent disability. He lost his right arm and sustained severe injuries to his knee and his left hand, which still impair him today.
In 2019, Giovani Marcos discovered his passion for painting. He has begun to practise mouth painting, and it has become an integral part of his life. He loves to paint with his mouth, and he practises at least twice a week.
His path has not been without challenges, however. The Cuban government has made life difficult for the citizens through inflation, violence and kidnapping, and it has not always been easy to pursue his passion for art.
