Garofalo Mario

Mario Garofalo was born on 8 October 1985 in Naples. As a result of an accident on 28 June 2002, he became tetraplegic. His artistic journey began in 2019 during a stay at a rehabilitation clinic, where an encounter with the painter Marco Gentile inspired him anew to take up painting. Since then, he has devoted himself intensively to art and began studying painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Naples, which he is currently completing in his first year. In his work, Mario Garofalo prefers acrylic paints, which offer him a wide range of expressive possibilities and allow room for technical experimentation. He particularly enjoys painting portraits. As a child, Mario Garofalo already felt drawn to street art and cinema.
