Dhan Kumar Lama

Dhan Kumar Lama was born on 8 August 1974 in the Teesta Valley, District of Darjeeling in West Bengal. During his active military service as a soldier in the Indian army, he suffered a spinal cord injury.
Since his retirement he has lived at the Paraplegic Rehabilitation Centre, Khadki, Pune. In June 2021 he began mouth painting.
Mr Lama has a wife and two children, and as well as painting he greatly enjoys singing.
