Barajas Moreno

Raymundo Rafael Barajas Moreno was born on 23 January 1999 in Mazatlán. He grew up in a loving family of five and showed an early interest in art and sport. His school years were characterised by sporting and artistic engagement. During secondary school, he discovered his passion for angling and oil painting, attended relevant courses and travelled regularly to sports tournaments. Alongside school, he became involved at an early stage in his parents’ catering business, and later followed his childhood dream and began studying dentistry. A serious automobile accident resulted in a spinal cord injury, which led to tetraplegia. Despite the diagnosis that he would never be able to walk or study again, he did not lose his will to live. He began painting with his mouth, opened an Instagram channel for his art and soon became part of the Mazatlán art scene. In 2022, he founded his own car wash and later a clothing brand that uses his paintings as the basis for its designs. Both projects received strong support from the community. At the same time, he began studying painting and has since devoted himself fully to art.
