Azar Shemesh Ronit
- Israel
Ronit was born on 21 October 1965 in Ramat, Israel. She was born with cerebral palsy, which prevents her from using her arms and legs. From 1971 to 1981, she attended the ON School for Special Education, where she completed both her primary and secondary education.
At the age of thirty, Ronit discovered the possibility of painting with her mouth, an experience that opened up a new world of creativity and self-expression. She quickly developed a passion for painting and devoted herself to improving her technique. From 2007 to 2009, she studied under the guidance of the well-known artist Dita Goldstein, whose instruction helped her refine her skills and artistic confidence.
Ronit’s favourite subjects are flowers, which she paints in vibrant colours and many variations. Her works are full of life, reflecting both her joy in painting and her love of beauty in nature.
