Ayala Carlos Fernando Moreno

Carlos was born on 3 August 1964 in Cali, Colombia. He received his education at elementary, secondary, and high school levels. On 21 August 1989, he became paralysed, an event that profoundly changed his life.

In May 1991, Carlos began teaching himself to paint using his mouth. As a self-taught artist, he developed his technique through patience, practice, and perseverance, gradually transforming his artistic expression into a meaningful part of his life.

In addition to painting, Carlos enjoys reading, collecting stamps, and advocating for equality and human rights causes, that reflect his thoughtful and compassionate nature.
