Alba Maria Martinez Perez

Alba Martinez was born in Albacete on 2 October 2010. When she was 5 years old, she was diagnosed with a rare disease called dystonia parkinsonism with rapid onset. She is treated once a month in a renowned hospital in Barcelona. She can’t use her arms, so she uses her mouth and nose for all her tasks. The artist Florin Anghel (Scholarship Holder of the VDMFK) visited her school, which motivated her to start mouth painting, now she enjoys this activity very much. She is a very good student who gets very good grades in her school.
