Virginie Aïche

Virginie was born on 11 April 1980 in Nogent-sur-Marne, France. At the age of 21, she became paraplegic as a result of a gunshot wound.

After completing her training as a psychotherapist, Virginie pursued additional studies to specialize as a therapist in child and adolescent psychopathology. Naturally curious and deeply interested in people, she finds joy in learning, sharing experiences, and exploring new forms of expression.

Her growing interest in art developed through frequent visits to museums and exhibitions. One day, after seeing a video of a painter working with her mouth, Virginie was inspired to try mouth painting herself. In December 2020, she began experimenting with watercolours and soon discovered a deep passion for this creative outlet. She now hopes to continue refining her skills and exploring new artistic techniques through further study.
