Mustafa M. Ali ABUBEKER

Mustafa was born without arms and has learned to write and paint using his right foot. Despite his disability, he approaches life with enthusiasm and creativity.
Mustafa finds inspiration in everyday life — especially the birds he enjoys watching in the trees near his home.
Outside of his artistic pursuits, Mustafa loves playing football with his friends and feels no different from them. Art has become a joyful way for him to express himself and share how he sees the world.

Mustafa’s sister, Hassina Mohamed Ali Abubeker, is also a mouth and foot painting artist and has been a Student Member of VDMFK since 1998. Like Mustafa, she was born without arms and continues to inspire him with her dedication to art.
