Gustavo Daniel Luján

Gustavo Daniel was born on 17 July 1981 in Córdoba. At the age of 18, he had a traffic accident. The accident led to a C4 neck injury, which resulted in paraplegia and left him paralysed from the shoulders down. Since then, Gustavo has learned to master his life under these altered circumstances and to adapt to the new challenges.
Despite these obstacles, Gustavo completed his secondary schooling and even began a university degree. Unfortunately, he did not, however, find a course of study that truly fulfilled him. He had always wished to draw and paint with his mouth, but for a long time, fear prevented him from realising this dream. Mental blocks stood in his way until he finally decided: “If you really want it, you can manage it”.
In 2016, Gustavo eventually began to paint with brushes and acrylics in a self-taught manner. In 2017, Gustavo Luján began art lessons at the Figueroa Alcorta School of Fine Arts in Córdoba. There were times when he had to take a break because of health problems, but he is now in excellent health. He can now hardly wait to continue painting, as it brings him joy and does him good.
