Lin Ting-Ting

From a young age on, Ting-Ting Lin had a special talent for art. She graduated from the technical institute in decoration, visual communication and construction. In her job, she was in charge of designing wedding dresses and illustrating children's books. Furthermore, she worked in advertising design, as an art teacher in a studio and as deputy manager in a company. In 2002 she was involved in a traffic accident where she suffered a splintered fracture of the cervical vertebrae and joint displacement. She became completely paralysed. Encouraged and guided by her teacher Xie Kunshan and his wife, Ms Lin again seized the brush, only this time by means of her mouth. With enthusiasm and artistic zeal she quickly made progress and created painting after painting.
