What does it mean to be a member of the AMFPA?
Members and associate members receive monthly financial support which allows them to concentrate on their artistic development and remain relatively independent financially.
The members hand over all copyright and reproduction rights of their work to the AMFPA. The publishing partner then reproduces the chosen works and distributes them as art prints, cards and calendars, worldwide. Year after year exhibitions are organized around the world that allow the artists to show and sell their work to a wide spectrum of people.
Who can become a member?
Only those who have already received a Sholarship from the AMFPA can become a member. The jury continually keeps track of the artistic development of the scholarship holders. When an artist can live up to the standards required by the Association he or she is considered for membership.
A member of the AMFPA must keep up the same quality standard of art work as would a member of any other art organization. This is the only way that a high level of quality can be guaranteed.
