Short Biography
Dr. Roberto Ordenes was paralysed in an accident in 1965. Only a few months later, he began to paint with his mouth and received a scholarship from the Association as early as 1970. After his schooling, he studied law, graduating in 1981 with the title of Attorney at Law from the State University of Buenos Aires. In addition, he studied painting at an art college in Argentina.
Dr. Roberto Ordenes is very active in a number of areas. In his home country, he is a committed artist, an attorney at law for organisations for art and disabled people, an organiser, exhibitor and speaker at seminars and congresses. Overall, Dr. Roberto Ordenes can look back at over 200 participations at individual and joint exhibitions. His paintings have already been exhibited on all five continents of the globe. Since 1977 he has also acted as jury member for drawing and painting competitions.
In addition to painting, Dr. Roberto Ordenes is also a writer. He has published articles in daily newspapers and magazines as reporter and author. He has often been honoured and has received many awards for his various activities.
Dr. Roberto Ordenes died on 22 August 2007.
