Rick Matheus, born on 21 June 2000 in Fortaleza, Ceará, was run over by a car while playing in front of his home and was left quadriplegic and dependent on a respirator to breathe. He has begun mouth painting and he also plays keyboard and drums and likes to study. He is a happy child who is making a strong effort to adapt.
