Short Biography
Damian Mynarek was born in 1990 in Pyskowice. When he was 6 years old, a post-influenza infection (a viral infection of the spinal cord) left him a quadriplegic with respitarory insufficiency – he is permanently connected to a respirator.
Damian lives with his parents and his sister, Magda, in a small village outside Gliwice. The techniques Damian employs are chalks and felt-tip pens. Apart from painting, he is interested in computers, history and nature.
He has been cooperating with the ‚Amun’ publishing house since 2003.
