Short Biography
Dolores Schembri was born in St. Paul's Bay in Malta. She suffered from muscular dystrophy and could no longer move her limbs due to the progression of the disease. In January 1996 she decided to take up mouth painting as a hobby. As she found it to be a great inspiration for her life, Dolores took lessons from different recognised artists from Malta. Her paintings predominantly depicted the landscapes of her native country. She became a student member of the Association in 1998.
