Painting Method: Mouth painter
At the age of 14 years she went to hospital where she was diagnosed mutilating acrodynia and after several operations she had all four extremities amputated. On the occasion of her illness in 1992 she drops out studies and begins to paint with her mouth. What at first was an occupational therapy soon became a true vocation for the artist. Isabel paints mainly acrylic and her favorite subjects are fields and flowers.
