Short Biography
In 1974, when she was 19 years old, Isabelle Jackson was involved in a car accident that had grave consequences. She sustained such serious spinal injuries that the lower part of her body remained paralysed. Soon after the accident, while still in rehabilitation, Isabelle Jackson began to write letters and to paint with her mouth. In 1993 the Association granted her a scholarship. Since 2000 she has been associate member of the AMFPA.
Isabelle Jackson predominantly paints native American motifs. The paintings are created from memory. Her favourite technique is water-colours. In the course of her creative career Isabelle Jackson has already won awards and received distinctions for her works. She has also contributed to exhibitions in various cities in the USA and has had a number of personal exhibitions.
